Hello
My name is Aram Collazo and I'm a sound designer who works in video games, film, TV, and other forms of media.
Nice to meet you!

Little About Myself

As a kid, I loved listening to movie soundtracks in my mom’s car, and as it played, I’d recite the lines and sound effects that would play in the scene like the sound engineers in the early film industry. And when I started playing video games at 12 years old, I felt that connection to music and sound was strengthened with games like Minecraft, Destiny, and Mario.
Midway through high school, I started attending music and sound design classes at DigiPen Institute of Technology via the WANIC program. Being there for two years, I learned the basics of sound design and music composition which gave me the skills to apply to and get accepted to DigiPen.
After my sophomore year, I got a summer apprenticeship at Turn 10 Studios where by convenient circumstances I was able to work on the Forza Motorsport (2023). That experience also helped me cement in my mind that this was the right career choice for me.
From junior year to now I’ve worked on a couple student games which have been the most educational thing I’ve ever done during my time in college. Those projects gave me some of the best experiences for a new sound designer. Now that I’m a senior, I’m very excited to get to work on more projects post graduation!
